We’re excited to announce our partnership with Bravo and their Emmy Award winning television show—Top Chef. It’s a match made in… well, the kitchen—and the results of pairing our culinary expertise with their culinary savoir faire are simply mouthwatering. Our new program is called Top Chef At Sea, and beginning in July of this year, you can step aboard any of our ships* and discover new ways to thrill your palate, master culinary skills, and take your vacation to the next tantalizing level.

To create our Top Chef At Sea program, we blended Top Chef-inspired activities and flavors into an already extensive culinary experience. Step aboard and be wowed with Quickfire Challenges that put you in the spotlight where you’ll feel the pressure the chef’testants experience on the show. Plus, indulge in some of the dishes the judges raved about on the show at our Top Chef Night in the main restaurant, where we’ll feature a wide selection dishes, from appetizers to desserts, that were big hits on the show—all for your discerning palate.

 

 

And for our dedicated foodies, we’re introducing four Top Chef Signature Sailings, where you’ll be joined by some of the show’s most popular and talented chef’testants. Rub shoulders with the chefs and sample some of their creations at special Meet & Eat gatherings (featuring hors d’oeuvres prepared from the chefs’ recipes) on vacations in Bermuda, Alaska, Europe, and the Caribbean. With as many as four chefs per sailing, you’ll have the opportunity to get the low-down on what it was like to be on the show and find out what they have in store next.

On board, your chefs will give demonstrations, lead private cooking classes, join you for special dinners in one of our specialty restaurants, participate with you in Quickfire Challenges, and be featured in the main restaurant during Top Chef Night, where they’ll hobnob with you and your fellow guests as you enjoy dishes that carry their seal of approval.

This year, we’re tempting your taste buds, honing your skills, and putting you to the test on a journey with a culinary focus that will have your inner chef’testant jumping for joy. What is "Top Chef at Sea"?

 

An exclusive licensing partnership between Celebrity Cruises and Bravo’s "Top Chef," and Emmy® Award-winning culinary competition series consisting of four theme cruises spotlighting former "Top Chef" chef’testants (3 - 4 per cruise) with a variety of exclusive events all hosted by the chef’testants on that sailing, as well Top Chef-inspired experiences on all Celebrity sailings (minus XP ) departing July 2014 - June 2015.

 

When are the four theme cruises?

 

1. Celebrity Summit – July 2 7, 2014 – 7N Bermuda cruise
2. Celebrity Solstice – August 15, 2014 – 7N Alaska cruise
3. Celebrity Infinity – September 19, 2014 – 12N France & Iberian Discovery cruise
4. Celebrity Reflection – November 15, 2014 – 7N Eastern Caribbean cruise

What programming will occur on the f our theme cruises?

 

1. Cooking demonstrations -- at least two per sailing per chef -- complimentary
2. The show’s famous Quickfire challenges – at least two per sailing – complimentary

3. More Choices. As river cruising demand continues to boom, more ships and destinations are being added for cruisers to experience. Avalon and Viking, for example, are both expecting significant capacity increases in their fleets for the 2013 season. Viking will add six new longships in 2013 and Avalon will introduce two additional ships. Cruisers are also finding more choices while aboard from customized dining experiences on and off the ship, to specialized excursions.
